Why a Balanced Diet is Important for Cats

You don’t always need supplements. However, they can provide the body with nutrients that might be missing. For example, if you feed your pet exclusively raw meat—known as BARFing—you are mimicking a “wild” diet for your cat. However, this can sometimes result in insufficient intake of essential nutrients.

Even in cases of health issues, supplements can support better feline health, because the gut plays a key role in immune defense. Additionally, pregnant cats or senior cats require higher amounts of certain vitamins and minerals.

Always consult your veterinarian before giving supplements. They can tell you if a deficiency exists and advise on the best way to correct it and prevent future shortages.

In our range, you will find the Gut Health “Feenstaub”, which consists of 100% natural ingredients. It supports your cat’s digestive health. In addition, the herbal powder creates a worm-unfriendly environment in the intestines, making it difficult for tapeworms in outdoor cats.

The advantage: Even after repeated use, no resistance develops against “Feenstaub”.

You can use the gut health supplement preventively every three months for 10 days by mixing it into wet food or well-moistened dry food. Alternatively, you can mix “Feenstaub” with a little yogurt if your cat prefers that.
