The Feele “Landestop” protects against flies and here explicitly the deer louse fly. It is equally suitable for horses and dogs.
The deer louse fly is an ectoparasite and feeds by sucking blood. This is why it is colloquially known as the “flying tick”. It is usually found on forest edges and flies to various species of deer, badgers and wild boar to feed.
After the host has been approached, the fly clings on and breaks off its wings.
Due to its repellent effect, Feele “Landestop” is legally classified as a biocidal product and is registered as such with the BAuA (Federal Institute for Occupational Safety and Health).

The Feele “Landestop” has been explicitly developed to repel the deer louse fly and also protects against other types of flies.
Its formula is a unique combination of plant-based active ingredients that adhere to the horse’s coat even when sweating and can also withstand the odd bath for the dog.
The “Landestop” can also be sprayed onto textiles and can therefore also protect humans from deer lice flies when out riding or walking.

Usage

Please apply especially to the head, chest and flank areas. Also massage into the mane comb and into the area around the tail. You can also spray into the palms of your hands and rub or massage into the coat.

Hallo Michaela,
Leider hat der Landestop bei uns nicht so gut funktioniert. Ich hatte gedacht, dass es auch bei Fliegen und anderen Insekten hilft. Das war jedoch nicht der Fall. Inzwischen ist die Flasche auch schon leer. Hirschlausfliegen hatten wir keine. Zumindest habe ich es nicht mitbekommen.

Danke für Deine Nachricht. Bitte entschuldige, dass ich Dir erst jetzt eine Antwort schreibe.
Ich teste seit einigen Wochen den Landestop und habe ihn sogar meiner Mutter zum Testen gegeben, da sie wirklich mitten im Wald wohnt und dort auch täglich mit Hirschlausfliegenzeit zu kämpfen hat. Unsere Hunde sind bisher immer verschont geblieben, also haben wir vor allem Landestop an unsere Kleidung (und Haare) gesprüht.
Die Anwendung finde ich unproblematisch. Ich mag es, dass es zwei verschiedene Sprühoptionen gibt. Der Geruch ist ziemlich stark. Es ist jedoch nicht zu unangenehm, da es natürlich duftet und nicht z.B. nach Chemikalien.
Wir konnten eine deutliche Wirkung beobachten. Unsere Gassirunden mit den Hunden dauern zwischen 1,5-2 Stunden im Wald. Mit Landestop hatten wir jeweils 2-3 Hirschlausfliegen an uns krabbeln, aber ohne waren es mindestens doppelt so viele. Einen kompletten Schutz konnten wir somit nicht bestätigen (war auch nicht so beworben), aber einen deutlichen Unterschied schon.
Bis jetzt sind wir schon zufrieden mit dem Produkt.
Hoffentlich konnte ich euch weiterhelfen. Bei Fragen stehe ich weiterhin gern zur Verfügung.
